Checked Under the Hood Lately???

There's no better time than a week or two after New Years to ask this question, so here goes...Are you feeling a little sluggish, puffy, run-down, or a little round in the middle??? Are you battling your first seasonal cold or flu? Bronchitis??? If so, there's a good reason why- your engine may need some cleanin'! Let's get real here. All the food celebration from Thanksgiving to New Years is enough to turn even the most disciplined health addict into a goopy mess. Processing all of that pastry goo, sugar, dairy, and hors d'oeuvers can be quite taxing on your physical engine. Your body, though much more sophisticated, is very similar to a car. If after a long haul, such as the holiday season, you fail to change the oil, air filter, and lube up, you're gonna run like crap!! No pun intended. Yes crap, or pooh if you prefer, is the topic here. No matter how healthy your diet, if your inner sewer system is clogged you break down. Most people have debris in their colon (possibly you) from years of eating too much animal protein, dairy, white stuff, breads, cookies, chips, bad oils, pesticides and other nasty chemicals bound in processed food. Worse yet, the time between Thanksgiving and New Year is when most people (even health addicts) indulge beyond what the body can handle. A month of garbage in and very little garbage out means a backed-up sewer system!!
Unless you were having regular "meetings" in the can throughout the holidays-at least 3 daily-you have a sewer system back-up. Since approximately 80% of the immune system is located in your colon, is it a mystery why the Cold, Flu and Bronchitis run rampant after New Year? You see, when the pipes back-up, the slow-moving goo ferments and rots in the intestines. This causes a slew of nasty issues for the colon. Fermentation and Putrefaction (aka decomposing dead flesh) create a breeding ground for "bad" bacteria; and guess what...their pooh gives off carcinogenic byproducts too!! READ MORE>>> |
