First and foremost-Thank You-to all of our loyal clients and employees!
You have stuck with us through peaks and valleys.
At the close of another year, I sit back and reflect on the successes of my business.
In 2009--
--we successfully merged our 2 locations without a single person losing their job.
--we are surviving the most painful ecomony I have seen.
--we have gone 'green'.
--one of our Senior Stylists won 2nd place Avante Guard at the Michigan Hairdresser of the year awards.
I love New Year's Eve and the fresh outlook the New Year brings.
I am eternally optimistic that we will make great things happen again in the new year.

 Take Time for Yourself Life seems busier than ever!
Work is busier, kids are busier, the gym is busier, the holidays are upon us so the stores are busier.
In this day and age it's really important to have balance.
Take care of you so you can take care of everything else.
Every few months I feel the need to regroup and refocus.
I recently took two days in New York City. It was perfect! Away from daily life-doing whatever I wanted. Slept late, champagne lunch, Times Square, Tiffany's, the W Hotel.... My batteries were recharged!
I am back home in Ann Arbor and happy to be here!
I am refreshed and renewed.
I put my superwoman cape back on, and I'm ready to conquer the world! (at least MY world !) :)

Nadia Sullivan-A Woman of Honesty and Integrity
 I have many stars working at Brown and DeLine.
We train hard to make sure we can provide superior service in all departments of the salon. One bright shiny star continues to amaze me day after day. She is Nadia Sullivan. Beautiful girl, college student, intelligent, quiet, focused. She is a salon coordinator and so much more. Her friendships grow deep. She exudes integrity and honesty. A year ago she began recruiting a large team to support her in founding a non-profit organization. Named "Small Things, Great Love", her non-profit will help people in need-big or small. Nadia is inspired to 'be the change' at the age of 22!
I find her passion and commitment astounding. I don't meet someone like this everyday. I am confident she will move on to do great things in her life. Who knows-maybe a business owner. Maybe CEO of a giant Non-Profit. Maybe even President of the United States!

 Each year we organize an event to give back to the community who gives us so much during the year.
This year we are sponsoring a "Warm Hands-Warm Hearts" drive to collect hats, scarves, mittens and gloves.
New items will be collected the the salon through December 15th.
Item will be donated to Bryant Elementary School to benefit children in grades K-3.
