RWS Infeed Conveyor Systems
The infeed belt conveyor is 20' x 12" and comes standard with our dowel mills. 

In addition to the standard infeed systems, Round Wood Systems also has several custom options for infeed on our dowel mills. Loading Deck

  • Loading Deck:  Logs are loaded onto the Loading Deck which then lifts as neccesary to load logs onto the StepFeeder.

  • StepFeeder: The StepFeeder moves the logs to the Even Ending Rollers.Dowel Mill Head


  • Even Ending Rollers:  The even ending rollers line up the ends of the logs so they are uniform before being loaded onto the Infeed Conveyor.

  • Singulator:  The Singulator loads the logs, one at a time, onto the infeed belt.

  • Uses a 2 axis electronic scanning package capable of grading logs according to taper, diameter, sweep, length, grade and species.
  • Has a modular design, allowing customers to easily set the bin configuration.
