Compaction Buckets
With the Compaction Buckets we have combined the 2 proven methods for achieving compaction during sewer line, water line or site work operations. These methods include vibratory plate compaction or roller wheel compaction, creating unequaled, all-in-one backfill and compaction attachments for excavators and large backhoe-loaders. What makes our method unique? Dig, Place and  Compact, all in one!- Vibration forces the air in the soil to the surface and decreases air pockets in the soil, making it ideal for compacting granular materials.
- The vibratory plate compaction bucket also allows an operator to place backfill in the exact amount needed to ensure uniform lifts, as well as providing a convenient method of compaction.
- Time and money are saved when contractors are able to replace a dozer or loader for backfilling and by eliminating transition times when switching between separate compaction and bucket attachments. Felco compaction buckets keep the operator and machinery running at peak performance since an additional person is no longer necessary.

Felco has just completed a project building a working platform to maintain rockets for Alaska Aerospace. Felco contributed to the design of this major fabrication project where the work platform had to be able to hold 240,000 pounds of weight on each section. All welds were inspected after the test and passed without any problems.
