Pastor Picon

This soft, cow's milk blue cheese from the mountains in the Asturias region of Northern Spain is wrapped in maple leaves, traditionally used during aging to protect the wheels from the elements. Pastor Picon is often compared to its mixed milk cousin, Cabrales, in terms of its robust qualities, but it tends to have a sweeter and creamier finish on the palate.

Fine, Untreated Sea Salt
We have a bounty of different styles of salt here at Provvista. The main difference in this particular sea salt is that it has been harvested from solar ponds in the Pacific Ocean, then evaporated and purified back on land. No anti-caking agents have been applied (hence the untreated status), so this is just a straightforward, fine salt that is now available in bulk, at a very kind price!

Sea Sal, Fine, Untreated - 50 lb bag - $16.50/ea

Brasilena
Despite the name (and the sassy woman in a sombrero on the bottle), Brasilena soda actually hails from Calabria, an area of Italy near the 'toe' of the boot. It's a refreshing mix of sweet espresso and mineral water that makes a distinctive soda float or an invigorating pick-me-up.

Brasilena - 24/6 oz bottles per case - $25.00/cs
