 | Whirlpool Blitzes Thomas Home |
Whirlpool Corporation and Knoxville Habitat for Humanity raised the walls on a new house in West Knoxville on Saturday, October 22. The build was part of several 2011 Whirlpool-sponsored Habitat houses and helped commemorate the company's 100th anniversary.
But more than building a new house, Whirlpool volunteers who came out to hammer constructed a dream for homeowner Tina Thomas, 36, and her two daughters, Tierra, 18, and Matia, 15.

Personalize Online Giving at KHFH.com |
We have added a new feature to our donations page that will allow you to designate your gift for a specific purpose, e.g., to support a Covenant Partnership, the house of a particular family in our program, etc.
The page was already formatted to allow a donor to make a gift in honor or memory of someone, but we are excited about the possibilities this new feature will offer.
