Bring Mom along this Saturday for a wildflower hunt & seek along our nature trail. Then for those looking for a longer hike, Steven's Trail is definitely a key destination. It is a 3.2 mile decent to the North Fork of the American River from Colfax - worth the trip even when there are no flowers! Another great viewing area is Windy Point in Iowa Hill - don't forget your camera and wildflower book! If you're interested in vernal pools, visit Table Mountain in Oroville. The Dept. of Fish and Game is offering guided 1 mile hikes through the end of May.
