Nature News:

Stop Junk Mail:
Did you know that 4 million tons of junk mail gets sent out each year? Stop 75% by sending a postcard or letter to Mail Preference Service, Direct Marketing Association, PO Box 643, Carmel, NY 15012-0643

Include your complete name, address, zip code and a request to "activate the preference service". For up to five years, this will stop mail from all member organizations that you have not specifically ordered products from. Learn how to get rid of all of it here...

Natural Flea & Tick Control:
  • Vacuum everything where fleas and eggs may live (carpets, rugs, couches) and sprinkle natural, unrefined diatomaceous earth twice a year where you (and the pets) cannot reach along your walls, under furniture, and any cracks.
  • Add a small amount of Brewer's Yeast and garlic powder to your pet's food (check with your veterinarian for proper dosages depending on weight).
  • Use one of these sprays or shampoos for further protection...
