COMBERMERE ABBEY launches new look...

An exciting new look has been created for Combermere Abbey, with stylish new logo, positioning statement and website.  As new technology has engulfed us all, and new enterprises have been created here, we wanted to let you and your closest friends in on the secret - and to invite you to come and see what's been going on!

Like giving birth, the project took about 9 months.. and the gestation period was just as nerve-wracking...Patricia Freshwater from Business Adrenaline became the midwife, guiding Blueleaf Design  and owner Sarah Callander Beckett through the design minefield and delivery process!!!

Take a look at our new website and discover the breadth and scope of what we are all about. Then come and see for yourself

Something Old, Something New...
We've been busy here and taken something old and treasured and given it new life and purpose!

Our once derelict glasshouse in the Walled Gardens is once again standing proud and bringing joy and happiness to lots of visitors, whether on a tour or getting married or having a party. Sitting centre stage in the famous Combermere fruit tree maze - it's creating quite a stir.

Combermere Glasshouse in Spring

To cap it all, we have just finished the complete restoration of all three gardens with the new Walled Garden Pavilion!  A state of the art structure where happy people can dine and dance and celebrate their nuptials in grand style.

Combermere Abbey logoEach newsletter we will let you into a Combermere Secret..

After 800 years there will be some exciting facts and tidbits of information about what happened here, the people who have lived here, worked here or just been visitors here..

If you are one of those, or have relatives who were part of the Abbey's long history - get in touch, give us your story!

I have had the privilege of meeting lots of you on the tours, and have some wonderful tales to tell.. so watch this space.
And Finally...
Ever had the hassle of trying to find a holiday cottage that will allow you to bring your dog, and then arrive to find you are on a main road, or no access to good walks - look no further!! We love dogs, and they have their own Pleasure Garden and wood to run in as well as over 2 miles of walks... we even give them their own Pooch Pack for use while they are our guests!!

Look out for more exciting news in the future, and we look forward to seeing you here soon -
