For less than the cost of one month in an assisted living facility, AVI can install the CloseBy Network and monitor your loved one's activities in the home with messages sent by emails, text messages, or over the Internet.

How CloseBy Network Works

The CloseBy Network system creates a "Care Network" of family members and loved ones and provides information about elderly loved ones still living in their own home. CloseBy Network gives added peace of mind to Care Network members and a cost-effective alternative to an assisted living facility for elder loved ones still able to care for themselves.

It provides Care Network members with up-to-date status of activities in the elderly loved ones' home. Families and loved ones choose events to monitor and how to be notified when those events occur. CloseBy Network sees discrepancies in normal or expected routines, and can notify Care Network members when they occur.

Send a text message if the stove is left on.  Receive an e-mail if the medicine cabinet hasn't been opened or if no one is moving around in the home. You get the idea.
