Special thanks to the 2011-2012 ILA Executive Board for their outstanding leadership and hard work! Illinois Library Law & Rules in Effect October 2012 2012 edition will ship in October |
This book is a must-have for Illinois' library directors, boards, trustees, elected officials, and others affected by state law governing library decisions. We've been working closely with the Illinois State Library and Thomson Reuters, the world's foremost legal publisher, to prepare and produce an updated version of this indispensable guide to the most current state statutes and regulations affecting libraries.
Several new rules regarding such things as regional library system membership, reciprocal borrowing, and state grants that took effect in July 2012 are included. The statute section has been updated with changes occurring since the previous 2010 edition, including laws passed but not in effect until 2013. This edition also includes ethics statutes that were not part of earlier editions.
Order through the ILA website, or by phone (312-644-1896), fax (312-644-1899), or e-mail. Please be sure to specify 2012 edition, and orders will be shipped as soon as available. Cost is $25 for ILA members, $40 for non-members.
