Your Help Is Requested with Committee Appointments
We are enjoying a beautiful spring in Illinois and it is also the season when the Illinois Library Association president-elect is charged with assigning committee appointments for the following year.  The board and I welcome you and your colleagues to join with us this year in living out loud -- and that begins here and now. Think about nominations that will move us forward together, think about statewide representation, and think about our future. I am communicating with the entire membership because it is up to all of us to rededicate ourselves to Illinois libraries through our state association.

Nominations and/or self-initiated expressions of interest are invited for seats on the following committees (please click on the links below to read the committee's charge and current members):

Please share your contributions to this process by e-mailing president@ila.orgby April 30, 2010.

Appreciatively yours,

Gail Bush
2010-2011 ILA President
