Creating Great Buzz for Our Libraries ILA Library Trustee Forum 2010 Workshop
Join the ILA Library Trustee Forum at the Hickory Ridge Conference Center in Lisle on Saturday, February 27, for this annual workshop -- designed specifically for library trustees.
Trustees are among the most influential
people in libraries. Your words and your actions are powerful -- whether you
mean them to be or not. Creating Great Buzz is about how library trustees can
up the image of their libraries with everyday interactions. Understanding and
capitalizing on the influence you have is more important now than ever. With
library funding and the future of our libraries at stake, it is of the utmost
importance that all of us create great buzz about our libraries-- everyday.
Gail Johnson and Pam Parr of Face to Face Communication and Training will look at how to make the most of
every interaction we have inside and outside of the library. They will guide us
to maximize the positive impact we have in the library world.
The afternoon will feature ILA Legislative Consultant Kip Kolkmeier and attorney Phil Lenzini. Kip and Phil will provide an update on what's going on in Springfield and answer your legal and legislative questions.
Workshop registration includes a continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and snack breaks. Register multiple trustees and save! Register one trustee at the full price and
