WHOLE FOODS GIVES TO SUPPORT MUSIC

Our local Whole Foods donated $5,200 from its 5% Day on September 14, 2010 to support the Save Our School Music campaign. Students from the Woodside High School Jazz Band, featuring RCSD alumni, demonstrated just how talented our kids are. Thanks to Whole Foods, Woodside High, our RCEF team, and all the wonderful people out there who came to support our student musicians!
PENINSULA OKTOBERFEST TO BENEFIT EDUCATION

The Peninsula's first ever Oktoberfest is coming to downtown Redwood City on October 23, 2010. All proceeds from the event will go to support the RCEF and our neighbor organization, the San Carlos Education Foundation.

RCEF BOARD ADDS TWO NEW MEMBERS

We are pleased to announce that Mark Askins, a Roy Cloud parent, and Dan Gibson, a parent at John Gill and McKinley, have joined our board of directors.

There is still room for new members on the RCEF board. You can make a real difference in the lives of our Redwood City school children, while working along side some of our community's most interesting and dedicated people!

Please send us an email for more information: info@rcef.org
