inspiration for our son, Cole. I felt that the best gift I could give Cole to help him attain his dream
of becoming a PGA TOUR Player was the gift of the knowledge and experience that

Course Management
For players of all skill levels, course management is an effective asset that will improve scoring ability. Course management is the ability to make on-course choices which will give the best opportunity to shoot the best score. Golfers should be aware of course management from the first shot on the tee to the final putt on each hole. The Memorial
One of my favorite tournaments and golf courses on the PGA TOUR is The Memorial at Muirfield Village in Columbus, Ohio. The birthplace of Jack Nicklaus, the course is a tremendous design on a fantastic piece of land with rolling hills. There are subtle water hazards on many of the holes. Nicklaus created the finest driving course on the PGA TOUR but did not stop there as the greens are some of the most challenging you will ever play. Each hole is characterized by a perfectly positioned tree or bunker that comes into play on a non-optimal shot.

The Importance of a
Good Caddie
A caddie can be a very important part of a player's game and has an influence on the player in many areas including; attitude, club selection, green reading, knowing the rules and handling pressure. I have had quite a few caddies over the years and some of them were outstanding because of their ability to know how far the ball was going on that particular day as well as their ability to help select the correct club.

Greg Rita grew up in Whethersfield, Connecticut and has been a PGA TOUR caddie for almost 40 years. A few the golfers he has caddied for include major championship winners Curtis Strange, John Daly, Mark O'Meara and David Duval, and he caddied for J.L. Lewis for about a year and a half. Greg is one of the most successful caddies on the PGA TOUR, with a wealth of knowledge and experience that is indispensable for a golfer. Greg was diagnosed with brain cancer in the fall of 2007... |
