A New Golf Season
A Time for Setting GOALS!

The new season is a time of celebration of the achievements from the previous cycle as well as a time for setting goals for the future. Goal setting is a way of actualizing our wants and dreams into reality.  Our wants and dreams remain abstract until we write them down or say them aloud, affirming our goals to ourselves and others.

Green Tip
Do you carry bottled water with you on the golf course while playing? Water makes up 2/3 of the weight of the human body.  Therefore, drinking water is essential for our survival and it is important for us to stay hydrated, especially during physical activity such as playing golf.  Not only should we drink a lot of water, we should be sure that the water we are drinking is toxin-free.

Picture: J.L. Lewis Q: How did you originally think of the idea to create a golf tips book?

J.L.: Our son, Cole, is an aspiring golfer.  For his birthday my wife Dawn and I decided to give Cole a golf tip a day for his birthday to help him improve his golf game.  I called Cole every day to give him a golf tip.  Then, I decided to start writing the tips down.  It has since grown into a large database of golf tips, the book "Golf Tips from the Tour" and a beautiful website.
Off-Season Golf Routine

It is easy to slip out of regular physical activity and the golf routine during the off-season and winter months.  Though it is natural for us to rest more in the cold months, it is also healthy for us to stay active.

Winter Vegetables
Just as the weather changes with the seasons, our bodies change as well. If we eat in accordance with our natural environments, we will have optimum overall health and well-being, as well as an improved golf game.
