Three MB Motorsports Alumni Drivers Finish 1, 2, 3 at Darlington | |
At Darlington, SC Saturday night May 7, 2011, Regan Smith won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup race, followed closely by Carl Edwards (-0.196 seconds), followed by Brad Keselowski. All three drivers have piloted the #63 Ford F-150 MB Motorsports NASCAR Camping World Truck in their early NASCAR careers.

Regan Smith started his NASCAR career in September 2002 driving the #63 NCWTS Ford Truck at South Boston Virginia. He again piloted the #63 Ford F-150 in his second NCWTS race at Phoenix Arizona in November 2002 Regan won the 2008 Sprint Cup Rookie of the Year award and showcased his talent several times over the past few years, but he had never made it to victory lane. After competing in 104 NASCAR Sprint Cup races, Regan achieved his first win in the SHOWTIME Southern 500 NASCAR race at Darlington Raceway. Regan drives the NSCS #78 FURNITURE ROW Chevy.
 Carl Edwards currently holds the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points lead over Jimmy Johnson. Carl started his NASCAR career in the #63 Ford F-150 in June 2002 and competed in 7 NCWTS races that year, achieving a team best finish of 8th at Kansas on July 6, 2002. Carl drives the Roush-Fenway #99 AFLAC sponsored Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the #60 FASTENAL sponsored Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
 Brad Keselowski drove the #63 Ford F-150 at Bristol Speedway in August 2006 and at Homestead Motor Speedway on November 18, 2006. Brad and his father Bob assisted MB Motorsports throughout 2006 after financial conditions forced them to shut down their family race team. Brad drives the #2 MILLER LITE Dodge in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the #22 DISCOUNT TIRE Dodge in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

 Jamie McMurray finished 9th in the SHOWTIME Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway Saturday night, putting 4 MB Motorsports Driver Alumni in the Top-10 finishing positions. Jamie started his NASCAR career driving 10 races in 1999 and 5 races in 2000 in the #26 MB Motorsports Ford F-150. Jamie currently drives the #1 BASS PRO SHOP Chevy in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
 Justin Allgaier currently holding the points lead in the NASCAR Nationwide Series driving the #31 BRANDT Chevy, started his career in the #63 MB Motorsports Ford F-150 in 2005. He drove in 5 NCWTS races in 2005 and 3 NCWTS races in 2006.

Mittler Brothers next Trade Show Display will be at the 59th annual 2011 EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh Wisconsin on July 25 - 31, 2011. Each July the aviation industry focuses on EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. In 2010, over 530,000 people attended the aircraft show to view over 10,000 airplanes of all types, visit 777 commercial vendors displays, and enjoy a magnificent acrobatic air show each afternoon.
