Congratulations to Kevin Harvick Inc. on first and second place finish in the Nationwide race. Also congrats to Vision Aviation Racing for winning the truck race with Michael Waltrip Friday night. Both of these teams used Mittler Bros. Pull Down Rig to set up their winning vehicles.
Congratulations to the Wood Bros Team winning the 500 for the first time since 1976. Mike Mittler President of Mittler Bros. Machine and Tool said," I remember vividly in 1985 when Glenn Wood came up to me at the Daytona trade show, the largest show of the time. He was looking at the power drive bead roller and said "I think the boys would like one of them". I must admit I was shaking at the time when he dug in his wallet and got out a few nicely folded 100's he had hidden away like many of us do for that special need. He never asked me for it for free or a special deal a real classy guy and I couldn't be happier for them to win! This was the greatest stunner of an upset in Daytona 500 history. It was a record breaking race, there were 74 lead changes, 22 different leaders and 16 caution
flags - all Daytona 500 records.
Also congrats to former MB Motorsports driver Carl Edwards with a super strong run at the end to bring home a second place finish with a real chance at the win.

Next month we are heading to the METALfab 2011 Convention down on the bayou. Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool announces the hiring of Shawn Ballard as a new graphic designer to provide various web and print design services and work with clients to meet creative needs. Shawn will also be responsible for the company website, newsletters and social media customization elements. Shawn brings a creative take on graphic and web design which will help us get an edge on our competitors in these ever changing times.
