$1.3 Million Dollar Supercar Chooses MB Fabricated 9-inch Rearend |
Autoworks and Steve Groat built a 900 Horsepower '67 Mustang at a cost of an astonishing $1.3 Million dollars and they utilized a Mittler Bros. Fabricated 9" Rearend to deliver the horsepower to the wheels. This wild Mustang nicknamed "Obsidian" features a pair of intercooled Rotrex Superchargers on a 392 ci Ford Windsor Small Block with 847 hp at 5,800 RPM and an astounding 770 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 RPM. The transmission is a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed controlled by a paddle shifted Master Shift steering wheel. The car has recently been featured in the February 2009 issue of Hot Rod Magazine as well as countless other articles.

A Few Things to Remember "It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the job it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot, it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better." John Ruskin, Author - Economist 1819-1900
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a cheap price is forgotten!
