2009 and beyond
2008 has been a tumultuous year in many ways; the longest and most historic political campaign ever, merger talks between the big 3 auto makers due to their stock trading at near junk status, and the wild swings of the stock market resulting in uncertainty in the economy for many people. This poses the question, what is the economy? We are all "the economy" in our business actions everyday.
Racers are a unique group; always positive that they will run better on the next lap, or at least the next race. Racers are never content to sit in the grandstands and watch; they have to be in the game.
As we move into 2009 I think following the racers mindset will serve us well; get in the game, make a lap, shake up your business, and make things happen. If we wait around for the government to come save us we may all go under, think of Katrina and New Orleans.
We continue to shake up our business with Better, Faster, Cheaper thinking in all that we do. This brings us never ending improvement, providing you the best quality product at the lowest price, which equals value to you.
We employ American workers and use US made materials whenever possible. We are proud of the fact that our products are MADE IN THE USA.

Congrats to these Former MB Motorsports Drivers!
 Carl Edwards had an outstanding 2008 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Driving the #99 Roush-Fenway Ford Fusion, Carl won 9 Sprint Cup Races and placed second in the 2008 NASCAR Chase Championship. Carl also drove the #60 Roush-Fenway Ford Fusion to a second place championship position in the Nationwide Series winning 7 races in the process. Carl recently announced his engagement to hometown friend, Dr. Kate Downey. Carl started his NASCAR career driving the MB Motorsports #63 Ford Truck in 2002. Congratulations from all of us at Mittler Bros.!
 Justin Allgaier, 2008 ARCA Series Champion, drove the family owned Hoosier Midwest sponsored #16 ARCA Series car the past 3 seasons accumulating 7 wins the past two years. Justin won 5 ARCA races in 2008 on short tracks, 1-1/2 mile tracks, dirt tracks, and even at the 2.66 mile Talladega Superspeedway, earning the 2008 ARCA Series Championship. Justin signed with Penske racing in 2008 and drove in 4 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. Justin started his NASCAR career driving the MB Motorsports #63 Ford Truck competing in 4 races in 2005, 3 races in 2006, and 1 race in 2008. Congratulations from all of us at Mittler Bros.!
 Jamie McMurray drove the NASCAR Sprint Cup #26 Roush-Fenway Ford Fusion placing 16th in the final points standings capturing (4) Top 5's and (11) Top 10's. Jamie also drove a limited schedule in the NASCAR Nationwide Series winning (2) Poles in the 11 races he competed in. As seems to be the trend among former MB drivers, Jamie also recently got engaged to longtime girlfriend Christy Futrell. Jamie started his NASCAR career driving 15 races in the MB Motorsports #26 Ford Truck in 1999 and 2000. Congrats as well to Jamie on a great 2008 from all of us here at Mittler Bros. Back to Top |

Customer Spotlight |
 Murray Pfaff from Pfaff Designs sent me these amazing images of this 1956 Cadillac dubbed "Firemaker". This astonishing piece of American engineering was recently on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas and has been featured in countless magazines including DUB Magazine, Auto Trader's Kustoms and Hot Rods, and the June '08 cover of "Car and Audio" Magazine.
Murray is a faithful user of Mittler Bros. metal fabrication tools including our very popular line of punches and flare tools used to make the designs showcased here on the dash of the Firemaker Cadillac. Since starting Pfaff Digital Rendering & Design, Murray Pfaff has created designs for over 200 hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, and even a jet powered VW Beetle!
 Pfaff Designs' cars and clients range from Miami to Toronto, and from North Carolina to Los Angeles. In fact, the client list reads like a Who's-Who of the hot-rodding industry: Murray has produced design projects for Boyd Coddington, Air Ride Technologies, Deco Rides, Pro Rides, Detroit Speed & Engineering, Roush Racing - and Pfaff Designs is the proclaimed "designer of choice" for Rad Rides by Troy.

A Few Things to Remember
