Does the change in the length of daylight affect you?  Here are some things to help with SAD

Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD
You might not have ever thought about how the sunshine effects your mood and your productivity but it might affect it greatly.  If you notice a change in your mood in the winter time and now as we are getting less and less sun each day try a few of these things, they may help.

1. Get as much daytime exposure to the sun as possible
2. Ask for a workspace that has a window or skylight
3. Get a lamp for your desk and your home with the natural sunlight bulb
4. Change the light bulbs in areas of your home that you spend the most time so they are full spectrum sunlight energy efficient bulbs. You can find them at the hardware stores.
5. You can purchase a light box and spend 20 - 30 minutes a day sitting in front of the light box
6. Take a walk at lunch time
7. Eat your lunch out in the car or in a sunny window area if you live up north like I do.
8. Women, calcium with vitamin D may also help. You need that anyway for your bones.
