Dear Suwanee Family,

 

Thank you so much for the amazing turnout at the Jaguar Jamboree! It is my understanding that we had well over 700 people in attendance. I would like to thank Kathryn Brown and the PTA Board for all of their hard work. I would also like to thank the faculty and staff for attending and supporting this event.

 

I would also like to thank Tom Chernetsky for his work with Kid2Kid Tutors. Mr. Chernetsky is a member of our Local School Council and extremely active with the PTA Dad's Club. In an effort to make a difference for the students of Suwanee Elementary, Mr. Chernetsky will spearhead a peer tutoring program designed to provide students with opportunities to support each other academically.

 

 A school that possesses the support of its parents and the community is a place where education sparkles and success is a daily event. When we work together, there is absolutely no end to what may be accomplished for our students and our school!

Suwanee Student Council News

Hi, my name is Matthew and I am this year's Student Council President.  I hope everybody had fun at the Jamboree.  I would also like to say thank you to everyone who donated money to Relay for Life while we yo-yoed.  It was for a great cause.  I know this year is going to be the best year ever!

JAGUAR JAMBOREE!
 

 

Over 700 people turned out for the annual Jaguar Jamboree last Friday. Everyone had a great time enjoying the games, inflatables, prizes, Variety Show, Cake Walk, pumpkin voting and more!!! Thank you to Mr. Singleton, Ms. Fico, Ms. Thomas, Mr. Hays and Ms. Aguirre for volunteering for the Fun Flush and Ms. Purcell for MC-ing Center Stage.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who made the evening a success, especially the Dads Club and team leads: Jeanne Anderson (Cake Walk), Heather White (Pumpkins), Eric Martincek (Vendors), Lesley Poole (Food Vendors), Janelle Wagner (Prizes), and Lisa Glynn (Center Stage).
