All students who purchase lunch from the Jaguar Cafe this week will have their name placed in a drawing for a backpack filled with games. In addition, your name will be placed in a drawing for a chance to win a bicycle that will be given away by the GCPS School Food Nutrition Department!

 Suwanee Student Council News
Hello, I am Emma, this year's Suwanee Student Council president. This student council year will be fun and exciting with the help of our sponsors Mrs. Goetz and Mrs. Singleton. Our first event is the yo-yo thon, at the Jaguar Jamboree. Student Council members will be yo-yoing to raise money for Relay for Life. I hope to see you there! |

BoxTops Headline - the Girls Rule the School!!! While the boys gave a good push at the end with an additional 1,370 labels, it wasn't enough to beat the girls. Final totals: Boys - 4,854 labels and Girls - 6,448 labels. Congratulations to the girls for winning our first Earning for Learning promotion of the year. As your prize, the girls have won a Pajama Day this Friday, October 15! Thanks to everyone - boys and girls - for bringing in so many labels. Keep cutting and saving them and we will announce the next promotion in a couple of weeks.
Boosterthon Update - after another count from pledges turned in last week, we have met our fundraising goals! So far, we've earned $28,026 (our goal was to raise a net $27,300). Thanks to everyone for your support of our fundraiser this year. In addition to funding the PTA budget as planned, the PTA Board is currently getting bids for school and gym improvements and will provide updates as we learn more.
Jaguar Jamboree is almost here!! - Friday, October 15th 5:30-8:30
Don't miss out on this evening of family fun! Variety Show, carnival games, prizes, inflatables, cake walk, rummage sale, yo-yo-a-thon, Zaxby's, Cooley's, vendors, drench a teacher, vote for your favorite class pumpkin and more!!! Wristbands available at the door for just $10. Wristbands include unlimited access to all games and activities!
Come and show off your talent...there are still a few openings at the Variety Show! Fill out your form and turn it in by Wednesday to register. You can find additional forms and information at www.suwaneepta.org. Remember, there will be no walk-up performances allowed.
