Dear Suwanee Families,

Welcome to the first edition of Monday Mail for the 2010-2011 school year. We are so excited about this school year and all that it has to offer. We welcomed 745 students to Suwanee this morning. I'm pleased to share that our entire Suwanee family is in the building for the first time in many years (this may change as we grow).
In an effort to learn our new café procedures, we are asking that all parents refrain from eating lunch with their child for the first two weeks of school. Café parent volunteers and lunch visitors may join us beginning August 30th. We can't wait to show off our new and improved café program.

As a reminder, our school hours are 7:45 am-2:45 pm. Students may begin entering the building at 7:45 am, and should be in their classroom by 8:10 am. Dismissal will begin at 2:45 pm, and should be completed no later than 3:10pm.
We will allow flexibility this week as you and your child transition into the new school year.

For more information concerning our schoolwide and classroom routines and procedures please join us on August 19th from 6:30-7:30 pm for grades 3-5 Curriculum Night and August 26th for Kindergarten-2nd grade Curriculum Night. A brief PTA meeting will take place in the café from 6:00-6:30 pm.

Should you need procedural information prior to curriculum night, please feel free to print the attached 2010-2011 Parent Student Handbook attached below. You will also be able to access this via our school website. Our website is currently under construction and will be new and improved in the coming weeks!
Thank you for sharing your children with our Suwanee family!
Proud to be your PrinciPal,
Dr. Kimberly Smith

Season Ticket information....changes that everyone needs to be aware of...

As each season gets bigger and better for North Gwinnett football, we are trying to incorporate more of a community atmosphere where our season ticket holders can enjoy many benefits and come together prior to games for festivities and enjoy select North Gwinnett football spiritwear.  With this change comes a new price structure for our reserved seating and each member will receive so much more than just a season pass!

All reserved, season tickets are being sold through the Touchdown Club.  Please check out this link and see everything that comes with your reserved seats!

http://ngfootball.org/pages/posts/touchdown-club-memberships---get-them-while-they-last96.php

There is one other option not listed on this link that might interest many of you as well.  If you want to buy just one reserved seat for just one game and if any are available, you will be able to purchase that reserved seat or seats at the concession stand ticket gate on game night only for that game only for $15 per seat.

Overflow parking procedures...

For many games, there will be 55-passenger charter buses running non-stop from North Gwinnett Middle School and Level Creek Elementary School.  When this is advertised, the instructions/directions are below:

Overflow parking procedures

North Gwinnett High School will be providing a free shuttle service for overflow parking for the semi-final state playoff game.

We will have two shuttle buses making round trips from North Gwinnett High School to our two overflow parking areas all evening long:

  1. North Gwinnett Middle School, 170 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Sugar Hill, GA 30518 (NO PARKING IN THE GRASS FOR ANY REASON.)
