Curriculum & Instruction from the Assistant Principals
|
Our GCPS Mathematics Department has developed an online tutorial to "preview" next year's curriculum or review the previous year's curriculum for extra support. This is a wonderful opportunity to help your child retain needed math skills and get ready for the following year's curriculum. For the cost of just $10 per course, your child will have access from May 26 to August 6, 2010, to these tutorial sessions. Remember, there is no "teacher" to monitor your child's efforts and there are no grades involved. This program is strictly self-monitored. In order to take part in this wonderful opportunity, please print the following attachment and return to your child's teacher no later than Friday, May 14th. Our school representative, Valerie Munson, will give your child their login and password and a brief training session prior to the last day of school. For questions related to registration, please contact Valerie Munson for more information. |

PTA Chairs Needed for 2010-2011 School Year The PTA is looking for parents who might be interested in getting more involved next year with the PTA. A few Committee Chair positions are open, including:
* Curriculum Enrichment Chair * Fundraising Chair * Yearbook Chair
Please see the PTA website for a description of these committees - http://www.suwaneepta.org/. If you would like more information or are interested in volunteering, please contact suwaneepta@gmail.com. These positions need to be filled in May, but you will not officially begin your duties until early June.
