Welcome Back! I hope everyone had an opportunity to enjoy the warm weather during Spring Break! As we move forward with the last nine weeks of school, I want to make you aware of a few end-of-the-year activities, dates and deadlines.

·      Parent Placement forms are available online this year. You may complete your online form April 12^th-April 30^th.  Please visit our school website for additional information. (Click here for Suwanee website)

·      Kindergarten Registration will take place from 9:00am -1:00pm on Thursday, May 6, 2010. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to registration to participate in a brief screening.

·      The District II Board Meeting will take place on April 13^th at Mountain View HS at 6:30pm. Parents and community members are encouraged to join us.

Last but not least, students in grades 1 and 2 will begin CRCT testing Wednesday, April 14th. We are excited about this opportunity to showcase the learning that has taken place this year. We ask that you support us in our request that you not visit during testing days. Our hallways are completely quiet during testing in order to provide an optimal testing environment for students. As a reminder, our lunch schedule will be adjusted as well as special schedules. We alter the schedules to make sure children have enough time to do their best on the CRCT. Testing will begin promptly at 8:15am and continue until approximately 11:15am.  Make-up testing will take place each afternoon.
