 Curriculum & Instruction from the Assistant Principals

CogAT scores for first, third, and fifth grade students and ITBS scores for third and fifth grade students will be sent home in Friday Folders on January 22nd. Parents of first, third, and fifth grade students should look for an informational letter with their child's scores listed at the bottom of the letter. If parents have any questions regarding the assessment or their child's CogAT or ITBS scores, they will have an opportunity to receive clarification from their child's teacher during Parent/Teacher Conferences scheduled for February 3 & 4, 2010. |
| Relay For Life Basketball Game |
 The annual Relay for Life basketball game will be played on January 23rd at 2:30pm at North Gwinnett High School in the Old Gym. Tickets will be on sale the week of January 19th in the Jaguar Cafe'. Please help Suwanee Elementary support this great cause. |

 Volunteers Needed!
Looking for ways to help the school? Help out in the Jaguar Cafe on Wednesdays & Thursdays for a one hour shift anytime from 10:30am - 1:15pm.
Volunteers would:
*Help the students open their lunches, condiments, etc.
*Ensure the students follow cafeteria protocol--quiet talking on green and yellow; silence on red.
*Ask students to clean up their area before tables are dismissed.

 BINGO Night
Suwanee Elementary PTA presents BINGO Night at Suwanee Elementary on Tuesday, January 26th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We will have a brief PTA meeting followed by family fun for everyone! We will play traditional BINGO, four corners, blackout and more! Winners will get to choose from some cool prizes and gift cards, with our last winner of the evening receiving a big prize.
There will be no ticket pre-sales for this event. Bingo Cards will be for sale at the door for $1.00 per card. Zaxby's will be in the cafeteria selling boxed dinners for $5.00. If you would like to volunteer to help with set up, card sales, or clean up that evening, please contact Kathryn Brown at krossbrown@gmail.com.
