I would like to thank you for showing your support by attending Curriculum Night last week. Thanks to your support it was a great success! Many of you viewed the video regarding the parent portal, which will allow you on-line access to your child's attendance, grades and behavior records. If you did not have an opportunity to view this video, please click on our website to access it. You will also receive an information sheet this week in your child's Friday folder providing additional details regarding the parent portal. You will have an opportunity to sign up for access to the parent portal during November early release days.
I would also like to inform you that we are currently under our student projection by 28 students. We have two additional student count days in which we will determine the number of students enrolled at Suwanee Elementary and make staffing decisions. I will keep you informed of any changes.
If you are interested in volunteer opportunities in the cafeteria, please contact Barbara Coker in the front office. Mrs. Coker will provide you with a list of available times to volunteer. We would love to have your help as our precious darlings get back in the swing of their school routines.

Chick-Fil-A night - come out today between 5-8PM and support the school. Chick-Fil-A gives back 20% of the receipts we collect, be sure to turn in your receipt and you will get a coupon for a free biscuit with drink purchase. When you turn in your receipt, let us know which class you are with and the class with the most support will get the cow for their classroom and a nugget party from Chick-Fil-A.
Discount Cards! We are almost halfway to reaching our first goal of selling 1,000 cards! Be sure to use the Suwanee Jaguar Discount Card order forms you received during Curriculum Night to help your friends and neighbors save money while supporting the Suwanee PTA. Turn in orders/money this week on Wednesday 9/2 from 9-10AM in the Jaguar Café. Barbara Coker will also have cards available for purchase at the front desk of the school during school hours.
