Thank you to all who prayed, attended or gave as a part of this year's Celebration of Life Banquet on Friday, May 4!
The event was a special time of communicating the redeeming power of the Gospel through stories of lives saved and transformed through Jesus Christ. 
Steve Green performed classics such as "Find Us Faithful" and joined the Heritage Christian High School Colla Voce Choir in harmonious praise. The entire room of over 900 attendees stood in worship for the song "In Christ Alone."
Client Shrhonda Ward shared her testimony of how choosing life changed her life, and she introduced her son, Noah, to the crowd.
Focus on the Family president Jim Daly shared about his incredible journey from orphan and foster child to leader of a national organization serving families. His inspiring and lively speech was punctuated by humorous stories from his past and testimonies of amazing ways God has worked through his current ministry. He shared about the open doors that Focus on the Family has had in recent years to share the Gospel widely, such as through the John 3:16 commercial this past fall.
Daly said that Christians are those who should be the first to protect life from its beginning. He exhorted the crowd to continue supporting this ministry that upholds the value of each and every life.
As a result of the gifts from the evening and from those of you who have joined in the fund-raising effort through mail and online donations, so far $257,318 has been raised toward the goal of $300,000! We are grateful for this encouraging support.
