A Life Ambassador's Outstanding Praise Report from SOHL Sunday

Life Ambassador Cathy Herridge stepped out in faith two years ago when she answered the call to be a liaison between Life Centers and her church. Despite the challenges of this service, she has remained faithful in bringing the message of hope and LIFE to Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana.

For Sanctity of Human Life Sunday on Jan. 23, Cathy set up a display (above) and requested an announcement in the church bulletin and from the pulpit.

The church responded with over 100 people visiting the Life Centers booth, over 60 people participating in the Bottles for Babies campaign, and 47 people signing up to volunteer or get information!

Cathy says, "As if this response was not overwhelming enough, something wonderful happened that made the whole weekend worth it. . . As I was standing at the Life Centers table, a lady whom I did not know came up to me crying, hugged me and thanked me 'for everything you do' and handed me an envelope."

That envelope contained a hand-written note by the woman, who had come to an Indianapolis pregnancy center 17 years ago and now has a son because the center opened up the door to her and helped her choose life.

Cathy writes, "Is this the amazing power of the Lord of Lords? Absolutely! I was totally overwhelmed by this act of praise and thankfulness from this beautiful woman."
