Greetings!
November is Life Centers Volunteer Appreciation month, and our gratitude runs deep for our outstanding volunteers and their selfless service!
More than 300 volunteers commit to serving on shifts at our centers and on our 24-hour Help Line, meeting clients who are in crisis and pointing them to Jesus.
In addition, we're grateful for supporters like Tory Murray from Plainfield Christian Church who hit a "Grand Slam for Life" by organizing three ball tournaments recently, raising over $1,000! What a way to raise awareness for the saving of lives and souls!
Thanks to all of you who volunteer and follow Christ's leading in the ways He calls you to minister to women in unplanned pregnancies and their unborn children.
Now's the perfect time to plan an awareness builder at your church or in your circle of influence for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday in January. You can read more about our menu of options on how to become involved in this ministry of compassion.
Thanks for showing your passion for Christ by demonstrating His compassion through your involvement with Life Centers.
We appreciate you!
Because Every Life Matters, Brian Boone President & CEO

"It's All About Jesus"
a center testimony by Deb Wurtz, Northeast Center director "I had a client today come in with her cousin. They were hard-hearted, laughing, and the client circled 'abortion' on her in-take questionnaire. She has already had three abortions. I knew I needed to just keep talking to these young ladies about Jesus. I had read the words in a prayer e-mail 'JESUS AND JESUS ONLY'. . . and those words were forefront on my mind. "God did the miraculous. He changed their hearts and their countenances right before my eyes! They began understanding, asking questions, making eye contact and talking openly! As they left, one of them was humming what sounded like an old gospel hymn! God really puts a new song in our hearts. And even though the client's pregnancy test was negative, she changed her intention from 'abortion' to 'carry' on the exit survey!" |
