Greetings!
As this month we reflect on the value of every human life, we remember with sadness the more than 50 million lives that have been lost since Roe vs. Wade on Jan. 22, 1973.
The anniversary of this fateful Supreme Court decision causes Life Centers, as a team of life-affirming Christ-followers, to proclaim and celebrate life this Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, coming up on Jan. 24, 2010.
People like you across the city are taking bold steps to speak the truth about life into their churches.
What can you and your church do?
1) Join Us For Prayer.
This Sunday, Jan. 17, 6-7pm at College Park Church's Fresh Encounter service, the body of Christ will be praying over the Life Centers volunteers, staff, and ministry outreach. Details here.
Putting these flyers in every bulletin or displaying them on a missions table is an easy way to inform your church members about Life Centers.
3) Schedule a Speaker.
Call (317) 280-2635 ext. 133 to speak with Christy about having someone share a testimony at your church.
4) Be Creative.
We know of a volunteer who wrote a song about abortion for her church, a parish that has ordered over 2,000 bottles for the Bottles for Babies campaign, groups that are holding diaper drives, and more.
5) Act Today.
This Sanctity of Human Life month, please do not forget about the little lives who are the most vulnerable among us here in our community.
