The Sixth NAREA Summer Conference in Chicago was an enlightening and stimulating experience to the many teachers, directors, teacher educators and other interested people involved in studying the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education. The program included presentations by our three keynote speakers from Reggio Emilia, Italy. Mayor Graziano Delrio spoke about "Our Responsibility with Young Children", Carla Rinaldi spoke about "The Pedagogy of Listening", and Amelia Gambetti spoke about "The Wonder of Learning--The Hundred Languages of Children Exhibit." Together they presented "Making Learning Visible" and also hosted a panel for dialogue and reflections from the participants of the conference. The photos below feature our keynote speakers in a variety of the activities that took place during the week in Chicago.
