2011 Chamber President - Shelly Leverenz

Dear Chamber Members,Shelly Leverenz

Thank You and Best Wishes for a wonderful 2012!

As this year draws to a close, our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made our progress possible. To our members..........simply and sincerely, thank you for your membership and your support. As we begin receiving membership renewals for 2012, I would like to thank you all for making it possible, this year and every year, to continue the work at the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce.

Your board will continue to take the actions most needed in the New Year addressing ongoing challenges as we continue the business of promoting business here in our community.

Through your investment in the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce, you belong to an organization with a commitment to helping our members grow their business and help market your products and services. You've invested in your own company's ability to network, make great contacts, explore unique marketing opportunities, and have a greater impact on the future of our region. You've invested in the Chamber - made up of you and your business neighbors.

As you consider the benefits of membership, if you find that your busy schedule does not allow your active involvement, remember, please, that our programs are open to all employees of a member firm.

Remember business development is about sharing new ideas and opportunities. You'll find that by participating in the programs, business after hours, and relationships the Chamber offers, you will uncover all kinds of networking strategies.

Our Legislative Breakfast meetings are held throughout the year and get you face to face with elected representatives at all levels. Don't miss this opportunity on Monday, December 5. In an informal setting, you have the opportunity to connect with our government officials as we help our members make their voices heard.

Together with many organizations in southeastern Wisconsin, the BACC works to promote our area as a great place to grow, expand and succeed in business. Thanks for supporting our efforts through your membership.
