JAMS 5.3 Released with Dozens of New Capabilities

This past week, MVP Systems released JAMS 5.3, a major new release of the leading batch job scheduling and workload automation solution.  JAMS 5.3 includes dozens of new capabilities and features that our customers have asked for.  Some of the new features are listed below:
  

Paladin Integration - You can now integrate voice and SMS communications into your JAMS platform.

-  PeopleSoft add-on - JAMS 5.3 has complete support for scheduling and managing processes related to PeopleSoft.

-  IBM System i agent - JAMS 5.3 has a robust System i Agent to manage and execute processes running on System i Servers.

-  Enhanced diagrammingFrom the Monitor View or Gantt View in the JAMS Client, right-clicking on any Job or Setup will allow you to Diagram that Job or Setup.  When viewing the diagram, you will be able to see information about the Job or Setup such as its current status, entry number, current elapsed time if executing, etc. 

-  New Export-JAMSXml and Import-JAMSXml PowerShell cmdlets - These two new PowerShell cmdlets are available with the JAMS PowerShell Snap-in.  They allow for exporting and importing JAMS definitions using PowerShell rather than the JAMS.exe command line environment.

-  Options to delete or read trigger event e-mail - When configuring an email trigger in JAMS, you can now choose whether you want to have that email marked as read or deleted once the trigger is fired and actions have taken place.
