ALF Needs Your Input: Strategic Planning Survey

ALF 2020 logoLook for an email sent to you on June 9, 3:45pm, from Executive Director Bonnie Ferreira (bonnie@alf-mvc.org)

As ALF enters into our strategic planning session at the Board Retreat in July, it is imperative to check in with you, our Fellows & Sr. Fellows, regarding how ALF moves forward.

In order to do that, we have created a six-question survey that will allow us to check the pulse of our Sr. Fellows and gain better insight as to where you think ALF could go and what you are willing to do to help us achieve it.

Didn't get the survey invitation email?  Email Scot in the ALF office to have the invitation re-sent.  Surveys must be completed by Tuesday, June 16th.

Annual Sr. Fellows Dues Invoice
on its Way

starburst 2ALF depends on its members' support -- approximately 80% of local ALFers paid dues last year

Annual Sr. Fellows dues notices for '09/'10 are going out as you read this.  Please keep an eye out for the invoice and consider making an additional gift to support scholarships to the Sr. Fellows program events and the work of ALF.

Dues remain $240 for the year or $120 for Fellows who have moved out of the region, and dues scholarships are also available.  You can pay by check or credit card, or consider automatic monthly installments either by credit card or drafted directly from your bank account -- see the enclosures in the invoice mailer or call the ALF office to find out how.  You can also pay online

Thank you in advance for your support.  If we can be of any assistance, please contact the ALF office.

Nominate for Class XIV

Class XIV logoSelection Committee needs to hear from you with nominations of excellent leaders

With Class XII in the ranks of Sr. Fellows and Class XIII ready to get going in May, it's time to turn our attention to developing Class XIV (that's 14 for the Roman-Numerically challenged).

ALF needs to hear from you about regional leaders whom you feel would make excellent Fellows.  Don't assume the selection committee will know them -- Nominate them with sufficient information to make clear their value to the region.  Sing their praises and the selection committee will take notice.

Focus groups will convene again this year, so to make sure your nominee gets the most attention, complete your nomination by June 30.  And keep an eye out for the focus group dates -- we encourage you to participate in the selection process.
