NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES
FOR ELECTION TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
September 27, 2011
Dear Member:
The Sammamish Chamber of Commerce (the "Chamber") must elect four (4) individuals to serve as Directors of the Chamber. The Board of Directors shall, at its regular October Board meeting on October 24, 2011, declare the candidates with the greatest number of votes in each position elected. Pursuant to Article IV, Section 2 of the Bylaws of the Chamber, the following individuals have been nominated as candidates for possible election as Directors. Each Director shall be elected to serve a term of three (3) years.
The following individuals (listed alphabetically) have been nominated by the Chamber's Nominating Committee as candidates for the four (4) open Director positions:
- Jan Klier - AllKlier Photography, LLC
- Gail Michelman - The Michelman Agency
- Susannah Pryal - Pryal Style
- Jason Weil- Weil Enterprises, LLC
Any active member in good standing of the Chamber may also nominate additional candidates for the open Director positions through a petition. The petition must list the name or names of the additional candidate(s) and the petition must be signed by at least three (3) qualified members of the Chamber. Such petition must be sent to the Nominating Committee via the Chamber's mailing address (shown below), or by email to info@sammamishchamber.org,
no later than ten (10) days after receiving this Nomination of Candidates notice or October 7, 2011. The final list of candidates, as determined by the Nominating Committee in accordance with the Bylaws, shall be listed on the Official Ballot. The Official Ballot will be sent to all active members at least 15 days before the regular October Board meeting.
