BECOME A SAMMAMISH VOLUNTEER TRAIL STEWARD Volunteer Trail Stewards are needed to supervise additional trail construction projects from June to September. Individuals interested in a Volunteer Trail Steward position need to participate in at least three WTA volunteer events in March and April and commit to leading at least 3 trail construction projects this summer. If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Trail Steward, please contact City of Sammamish Volunteer Coordinator, Dawn Sanders at dsanders@ci.sammamish.wa.us or 425.295.0556. Volunteer Trail Stewards must be age 18 or older and complete a Washington State Background Check. Additional first aid training will also be provided for volunteers.

Scott Gardiner, an Edward Jones financial advisor in Sammamish, is hosting a free 50-minute educational seminar titled "Foundations of Investing" seminar at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6th at the Sammamish Library. Fear of the unknown sometimes prevents people from investing in the future. Developing an understanding of the basics simplifies the process of getting started in an investment program. This seminar addresses needs of new investors as well as those needing a refresher. The seminar is free, but space is limited. To make a reservation, call Gardiner or Paula Flores at 425.898.8786.
