Blood Drive - As many of you know, the blood bank is always low during the holidays, this year it is especially true because so many drives were cancelled due to the snow storm Thanksgiving week.
If you have a spare 15 minutes on December 20th - please sign up to give blood in the council chambers. Contact Dawn Sanders to schedule an appointment between 10 and 2:45. They will be closed for lunch between 12 and 1. dsanders@ci.sammamish.wa.us or 425.295.0556.

Do you have left over cooking oil after frying your turkey or other holiday foods? Recycle your oil today!
There is a black tank labeled "General BioDiesel" behind Safeway, Sammamish Highlands, located next to Allied Waste Dumpsters on the back side of Safeway and behind MailPost. The tank will be kept here through January 4. If this tank receives a fair amount of disposal throughout the holidays we may keep it in Sammamish going forward in 2011.
Please spread the word so that our citizens use it.
Enjoy the holidays and stay safe!
