Ski and Sports Swap coming October 23 --
A Community Opportunity. The annual Sammamish Kiwanis Ski and Sports Swap is coming on Saturday, October 23 at the Pine Lake Covenant Church, 1715 228th Ave. SE in Sammamish from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Bring ski, snowboard, soccer, baseball, golf, and racquet sports equipment as well as bikes, roller blades, and skateboards to sell. Check-in starts Friday, 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Two venders, Pacific Bicycle Co. and Gert's Alpine Hut will be there with special deals of their own. Twenty percent of all proceeds goes to Kiwanis to reinvest in local programs for the youth of our community. It's a great opportunity to sell things you no longer need as well as upgrade for the coming year for people of all ages and all levels of skill from beginners to experts, whether single or multi-sports minded.
