KIRKLAND, WA - The Evergreen Hospital Auxiliary will host its annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 3 and 4, in the Evergreen Hospital Medical Center Galleria, 12040 NE 128th St., Kirkland. The Galleria is located in the Blue Zone or east end of the hospital. Admission is free. The Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair will feature hand-made crafts such as birdhouses, garden signs and Christmas decorations. There will be jewelry, photography, hand-sewn holiday gift bags, glass ornaments, candles and clothing. Evergreen Hospital Auxiliary uses proceeds from table rentals to support patients and programs at the hospital.
The Edward Jones offices in Sammamish and Issaquah are doing a Toy Drive for Toys for Tots. Collecting new and unwrapped toys to be distributed to our local communities. If you would like to make a toy donation please drop it at any Edward Jones office by December 9th.
Sammamish Arts Commission Presents HARDWARE: A Love Story December 10, 2009 - March 19, 2010
Local artists Larry Calkins and Carla Dimitriou pay tribute to an artist's source for materials - the local hardware store. Canvas tarps, chicken wire, plaster, nails and power tools mixed with a large quantity of creativity, turn raw materials into art. Opening Reception Thursday, December 10, 2009 6:00-8:00pm

Congratulations! Way to go, Sammamish! Thanks to many of you in our Community, the ARAS Harvest Festival 2009 was a huge success! Over 11,000 pieces of clothing and 12,500 lbs of food were collected along with toys, cookies, books and donated money. On the day of the event 322 volunteers were on hand to serve the guests, not to mention all of those volunteers who helped to sort and load the donations.
In Addition, the ARAS Foundation will be giving to those in need locally, holiday Gift Baskets of Food. Donations needed: Large empty baskets, Ribbons, Basket Stuffing and Clear Plastic Wrap and Homemade holiday Gift Cards (this is a great project for your youth organizations). Please drop donations off at Plateau Chiropractic, 22647 Inglewood Hill Road, Sammamish.
