VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Sammamish Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring some exciting events this summer: Sammamish Nights on August 29, helping to celebrate the city's 10th anniversary, and the SCC's annual event: Bravo! on September 30.
Often we need 10 or more volunteers for any given event...and we try to keep the shift times shorter.

If you are wondering why you may not receive a return call or email from Deb on Wednesdays, chances are she is on the go for the Farmers Market. We apologize for any delay in getting back to you this day. She is out of the office each week from 9:30am Wednesday until 8:30am Thursday. Feel free to stop in at the market each Wednesday and visit the Chamber booth. Thank you for your patience!

Today, July 20, 2009 - Come Play the Old Fashioned Way as SCC, the ARAS Foundation & the City of Sammamish host a Community & Volunteer Appreciation at Beaver Lake Lodge! Potluck begins at 6:30pm. Games at 8-9pm. Bring a salad or side dish. If you would like to bring a dessert to auction off (proceeds to benefit the ARAS Foundation) please contact Mary@ARASFoundation.org

News Flash! Moore Brothers Music to Celebrate 5 years of Music in Sammamish. Family owned & local, Moore Brothers Music will celebrate their 5 year anniversary with a free outdoor concert July 25, noon to 6pm. Held just outside Moore Brothers Music, the day will feature student & instructor bands, as well as free giveaways throughout the day. Bring kids lunch items of non-perishable foods such as jams, meats, fruit, peanut butter & receive a raffle ticket towards many great gifts! Food will go to Hopelink, Redmond to benefit school children in need. Scott & Troy Moore opened Moore Brothers Music in 2004. They attribute their rapid growth in the last 5 years to providing the best in private instruction and musical intruments at competitive prices. Big community supporters, Moore Brothers Music has and is supporting our Farmers Market, Teen Fest, and a variety of school performances and events, just to name a few. |
