Don't miss out! Summer is still going strong with a free GGRD scrimmage held at the
High Line Rink! Gotham skaters will hold a full "red vs black" scrimmage for FREE public enjoyment on Monday evening, August 22nd, weather permitting.
Get there early after work to get a good view -
the action begins at 6:30 pm and we skate until dark (8pm).
After the action, our fans and friends can grab their own skates and join us for a nighttime skate (extra skating fees apply).
The rink is outdoors at 10th Avenue at 30th Street in Manhattan, adjacent to
The Lot, where fans can enjoy food, beer, and wine. Come grab a happy hour drink, bring your co-workers, and explain to them the modern roller derby phenomenon!
The High Line Rink - Made for All by UNIQLO - is one of the only open-air roller-skating venues in Manhattan, with regularly scheduled theme nights, a pop-up shop called UNIQLO Cube, and other fun public activities for visitors of all ages. The Gotham Girls helped open the rink back in July with a bunch of friends on wheels -
