The Aviator Sports and Events Center is an exciting new venue for Gotham Girls Roller Derby with a number of nearby attractions within the Gateway National Recreation Area. Come out to Aviator for part or all of the afternoon, with in-and-out privileges for all ticket-holders.
AVIATOR SPORTS AND EVENTS CENTER
Aviator Sports and Events Center is located at 3159 Flatbush Avenue.
The facility is just south of exit 11S off the Belt Parkway.
MTA Subway: take the 2 or 5 train to Flatbush Avenue / Brooklyn College,
followed by the Q35 bus to the venue.
FAN SHUTTLE BUS
Additional dedicated shuttle buses for fans will run continuously throughout afternoon and evening, departing from Hank's Saloon, 46 Third Avenue, at Atlantic Avenue, in Brooklyn. Hank's is convenient to the Atlantic Terminal station and accessible by many subway lines.
Buses for fans are scheduled to leave Hank's at 11am and then every half-hour from noon until 3pm. From 3pm to 11pm buses will loop back from Aviator approximately once an hour.
Buses will be free to go TO the venue, but will cost $5 cash to return to Hank's. A one-way shuttle bus drive may take 20-40 minutes, so plan accordingly.
PARKING
Parking at Aviator is plentiful and FREE.
FOOD, BEVERAGES, and AFTERPARTY
Aviator has food and beer available for purchase throughout the day. Sailor Jerry specials are featured during all bouts and at the on-site after party.
