Hometown Throwdown - Portland, Oregon - August 13-15
Gotham's All-Stars continued their winning ways on Sunday, July 18, with a 206-41 drubbing of their oldest rivals, the #13-ranked Dairyland Dolls of Madison, Wisconsin, to even the All-Stars' all-time record vs. Madison at 2-2. The bout was held in Massachusetts as a neutral-site affair hosted by the Boston Derby Dames.

Gotham All-Stars scoring vs. Madison:
• Suzy Hotrod: 64 points in 11 jams
• Bonnie Thunders: 59 points in 11 jams
• Carmen Monoxide: 47 points in 11 jams
• Swede Hurt: 25 points in 4 jams
• Hyper Lynx: 11 points in 3 jams

The All-Stars next face their biggest test of the season to date with a weekend trip to Portland, Oregon, August 13-15, where the Rose City Rollers are hosting the "Hometown Throwdown," a six-bout round-robin between four of the nation's top teams: #2 Gotham, #6 Portland (Rose City), #7 Seattle (Rat City), and #14 Bay Area (B.A.D. "EMPIRE SKATE SHOWDOWN" SEP. 4 — TRAITORS REPPING NYC
Empire State Showdown - buy tickets! The Long Island Roller Rebels are hosting the first-ever New York State tournament on September 4th. GGRD's Wall Street Traitors will be battling it out for NYC pride in Old Bethpage. This one-day tournament, starting at 2pm will feature eight leagues in twelve 30-minute bouts.

Participating NY-state leagues include: Albany All-Stars, Assault City Roller Derby, Central New York Roller Derby, GGRD's Wall Street Traitors, Hellions of Troy, Hudson Valley Horrors, Ithaca League of Women Rollers, and the Long Island Roller Rebels.

WFTDA EASTERN REGIONALS IN NEW YORK
"DERBY IN THE BURBS" — SEPTEMBER 24-26
The best teams in the WFTDA's East Region go head-to-head in the WFTDA's playoffs, and you can catch all the action just up the road in White Plains at the Westchester County Center, September 24-26, in the "Derby in the Burbs" tournament hosted by our friends at Suburbia Roller Derby.

GGRD's All-Stars are seeded #1 in the region. Watch them battle regional invitees Philly (#2), Boston (#3), Baltimore (#4), Pittsburgh (#5), Montreal (#6), Raleigh (#7), Providence (#8), Lancaster (#9), and Washington D.C. (#10). Only the top three teams will qualify for spots at Nationals in Chicago in November.
Derby in the Burbs

The County Center is just a half-hour train ride north from Grand Central Station. Tickets are available now — skaters from all over the nation will be flocking to White Plains to watch the highest quality women's derby ever played in the New York City area! Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls is a non-profit music and mentoring program that empowers girls and women through music education and activities that foster self-respect, leadership skills, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Ladies Rock Camp, a one-of-a-kind, three-day musical adventure, is a primary fundraiser for Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. Bringing together women from different walks of life and all levels of musical experience for a weekend of instrument lessons, songwriting, band practice, and workshops, all culminating in a showcase concert at a professional music venue.
