The 2010 Derbytaunt Ball will be April 11th -- the night following the opening bout.

Come meet the meat! The Derbytant Ball is the league's annual blow-out at which we introduce the fresh crop of rookie skaters and incoming transfers.

Sunday night, April 11th at Public Assembly, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at 7pm. Featuring DJ Reaganomics and food/drink specials.

The Gotham Girls Roller Derby All-Stars open the 2010 home season with a battle against the Charm City All-Stars of Baltimore, Maryland.

Gotham's All-Stars, the WFTDA's 2008 National Champions, are ranked #1 in the WFTDA's East Region and #2 nationally by Derby News Network. Charm City's All-Stars are ranked #4 in the WFTDA's East Region and #12 nationally by Derby News Network.

The film chronicles real-life story of The Runaways from 1975 - 1977. Formed by teenage girls living near Hollywood, the band becomes the first all-girl rock band to ever break into the world of arena-filling hard rock acts.

Roller derby is an emerging promotional platform with many opportunities for partners to leverage its positive, athletic, hip, smart and sexy image. Partners can enhance their brand image by affiliating with the all-female, skater-operated league which consistently delivers captivating and memorable fan experiences unlike anything else in New York City.

The upcoming season will feature nine exciting home bouts, plus an outdoor exhibition, our Spring 'Derbytaunt Ball,' and end-of-season Awards Party.

Every GGRD bout offers many creative and memorable ways to incorporate partners, including giveaways, raffle prizes, special presentations, and trackside banners. Each seasons commemorative program is collected by our attentive, loyal, and lovable audience. Parents and friends of skaters place supportive shout-outs, and fans bring their copies to bouts over and over to collect skater signatures at our post-bout autograph tables.
