The Queens of Pain face off against the Bronx Gridlock in an epic rematch between last year's Championship contenders, who will be fighting for the title of 2008 Gotham Girls Roller Derby League Champions! These two hard-hitting teams are so evenly matched that the last three bouts they've played have been won or lost by just a few points in the final minutes of the game. This should be the most brutal, competitive bout of the season.
All-Stars Bonnie Thunders, Ginger Snap, Brigitte Barhot and Beyonslay from the Bronx Gridlock, and Donna Matrix, Cheapskate, Ana Bollocks, Bluebonnet Plague, Scarlett Rage, and Suzy Hotrod from the Queens of Pain represented New York City pride, skating together at the Derby in Dairyland Eastern Regional tournament in Madison, WI, earlier this month, where the All-Star Team took the Eastern Regional Championship Title for the second year in a row. But they return to New York City as enemies on the track, all eager to claim the Championship Title in the Big Bad Apple...

Team Captains, game MVPs and other select skaters will be available for photographs and autographs immediately following the bout at the Autograph Table, located in the lobby near the Merchandise Table.
Fans should arrive early to win prizes in pre-game rounds of Gotham Girls Bingo. Low-priced snacks, soda, and water will be available for sale to keep fans energized for this action-packed game (cash sales only).
