| Get Well Soon, Bunny! |
|
In last weekend's bout against Queens, Bronx all-star jammer Beatrix Slaughter (aka Bunny), went down after a hard hit from Queens Co-Captain Cheapskate. When Bunny didn't immediately get up, the EMT's on-hand went to her aid -- they determined she had a serious shoulder injury and she left the game just before the half.
At the hosiptal that night, she was officially diagnosed with a broken collarbone. We wish Bunny a speedy recovery, and hope that she will be back in time to compete with the All-Star Team in the upcoming Regional Tournament, and with her home team for the League Championship title, both in October.

Bar patrons and fans mingled alongside skaters' family members and friends, before being treated to a fire-breathing act by Jeerleader, Minnie Pearl Haggard... (more)
