Perserverance Pays Off in the        Turkey Woods!

   Tom and Henry 3 Turkeys

Perseverance pays off!  How many times have we heard that?  In the world of hunting and fishing, it usually means we didn't get our game because we didn't gut out the tough stuff, we did not persevere.  But on this early-spring South Carolina morning, perseverance finally paid off!  Click here to read the rest of this article...by Ironman Pro-Staffer Tom Ryan.
"IT"...the Invisible Ingredient to Any Small Group

Putting our finger on what makes small groups work!

IT....some have "it" and some don't.  If you have "it" then you know it, if you don't have "it" you also know it.  Some churches have "it" and some organizations are oozing with "it."  Clearly there's a large percentage of churches don't have "it."  And likewise, there are many ministries that had "it" at one time only to see "it" vanish.   It is hard to describe "it" but you know "it" when you see "it."  "It" is the invisible ingredient to any group.  Click here to read the rest of this article....by Patrick Tyndall.

sunset on Santee 2nd Annual Pastors Retreat!

Team Ironman is aware that pastors are some of the most isolated folks in our society.  And we also know that a pastor can't take off his "camo" just anywhere.  That's why for the 2nd year in a row we are hosting a "Pastors Only" Ironman retreat.  The purpose of this retreat is to encourage pastors, give them a safe place to talk, take them on a guided fishing retreat, and hopefully "sharpen" them spiritually.

This retreat will take place at Santee on June 10-12.  There are a limited # of spots for senior pastors.  If you know of a senior pastor that you think would be interested please shoot an email to me at patrick@ironmanoutdoors.org.   This retreat is 100% free for pastors!

If you would like to make a donation to Ironman to help cover the costs of the Pastors Retreat please let me know at patrick@ironmanoutdoors.org.  Even with a donated lake house, there are still some significant expenses involved with this retreat.

Thanks for supporting Ironman as we support Pastors!
