Greetings!
 I can't believe it's already August! I hope you're making time to enjoy the summer with family and friends. Best of Both has been busy planning and executing golf and ski trips and events. This includes our VIP Client Golf Day in Whistler (click image to the left to view photos), the 2011 Directors Invitation Ski Classic and golf in Ireland and Bandon Dunes. We'll soon be launching our new website which we're excited about. Unfortunately we had to say good bye to Anna Hewitt, our Communications Manager and Event Coordinator. She went back to Australia to pursue other goals. We wish her the very best.

Since it's the season, let's start with golf. Bryn Parry, who is schedule to head back to Ireland and Bandon Dunes with clients as he did last fall, recently returned from playing the Quebec Open. His 2nd place finish in this prestigious event continues to show he's in a select group of golfers. Lindsay Bernekavitch, who accompanied a private group in Bandon Dunes last summer, has been in Vancouver teaching and is getting ready for a Best of Both golf trip to Scotland in the spring. A guaranteed tee time on St. Andrews Old Course will be a highlight.
As for the skiers, Manny Osborne Paradis, Robbie Dixon, Mike Janyk and other members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team are chasing the snow in Coronet Peak, New Zealand. Robbie got off to a great start with a win the Giant Slalom at the Southern Lakes Cup. Cary Mullen has been busy with his Vivo Resorts Development in Mexico while Phil McNichol and Erik Schlopy have spent some time on Mammoth Mtn coaching their Ski Fantasy Camps.
